Yes, a nice photo where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling is lovely, but that’s just telling you what you looked like. We want you to see who you were.

At Apollo Families, we like to take a relaxed, documentary approach to family photography. The best photos are often born in the moments in between. A shared laugh, a child reaching for your hand, a toppled bin of blocks… the beauty is in the natural interactions.

Our sessions are gently guided, but not posed or forced. We want to deliver photos that illustrate the magic of what naturally exists in your unique connection with one another.

Time is a thing you can never get back. And that sentiment is never more poignant than it is when you realize how quickly your children have grown. When you are planning senior portraits, or are days away from their 18th birthday, you will wonder how that tiny human you met just moments ago is about to be an adult (legally anyway).

That is why we do what we do, the way we do it.

When you look back their lives, and your life together, the lived moments are the ones that will matter the most. The toddler who shyly hid behind your leg, her sister who thought twirling was a mode of transportation, and how their baby brother lit up when they walked into a room.

Andra, owner and lead photographer, is a mom of three who understands just how quickly family life changes from season to season.

Liv and Jas, our studio manager and lead in-house photographer, are raising a blended family of three together and bring a calm, playful energy into every session they photograph.
